Need some Adrenalin, go to the Runs!!
If your looking for a place where you can pick up a drag, where would you go in Sydney....? Are there any places in Sydney that are known for street racing....? The answer is yes!!
Brighton Le Sands, Tempe, Dolls Point and Ramsgate which are all located next to Sydney's Kingsford Smith International airport, are known as a place where sports cars battle it out. There are a large variety of cars in these areas, from Japanese imports to Exotic European sports cars. Races are normally picked up on Grand Parade, or off-streets in the hours after 9pm.
Liverpool also has a big name for street racing, with many done up cars doing laps trying to find a drag.
NOTE: All these areas are well known to the cops, so if you do choose to put your foot down, keep an eye on the cops. Very often they use unmarked cars. Unmarked cars can be identified quite easily. Look for large antennas on the car or a lot of antennas. Unmarked cop cars number plates normally start with the first letter on the number plate being one of the last few letters of the alphabet (x,y,z), usually Commodores and Fords made from 1998 to 2002. This is because the N.S.W police force bought these cars as a fleet and registered them at the same time.
